Years 10 and 11 at CCS
Welcome to the Year 10 and 11 Program at Canggu Community School
As a registered Cambridge Assessment centre CCS offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Years 10 and 11. Upon the completion of the two year program students will sit their IGCSE examinations in their chosen subjects. These are externally assessed by examiners in the UK and globally recognised by academic institutions worldwide.
Alongside the IGCSE courses, students choose from a variety of CCS courses which are at the same level of academic rigour and designed to prepare students for future study in Years 12 and 13. These courses are assessed through a combination of coursework and internally assessed examinations.
Students are required to take the following compulsory IGCSE subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Science. The English Literature CCS course is also compulsory.
Students are also required to choose from a range of additional subjects including:
IGCSE: Business Studies, History, Economics, Physical Education, Computer Science, French and Spanish.
CCS Courses: Visual Art, Drama, Music, Design & Technology and Indonesian.
CCS prides itself on offering flexible learning pathways for all academic needs. On completion of their IGCSEs and CCS courses, graduating students will progress onto the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
