JSTOR: General information database for DP. Includes over 50 subjects across all subjects. Click the red "Log In" button on the right and sign in with your CCS Gmail account. Then choose create account option on next page.

Gale Databases trial (ends Sept 15) : Search Gale in Context: High School, Opposing Viewpoints, Gale in Context: Global Issues and GaleOneFile: Popular Magazines for general research, and the others for more specific topics. The password is empower.

Google Scholar - Free search engine for scholarly information.

Semantic Scholar - high level open-source search engine for science topics

IngentaConnect - higher level database. Results are from researchers who are self publishing as well as news content. Mix of free content and "Abstracts" from other studies behind paywalls.

Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE) - voluminous search engines especially for academic web resources. BASE provides more than 240 million documents

ERIC database - for research and scholarly work regarding education/teaching/schools

RefSeek - General reference search engine. Be sure to skip the ads on the top of the results pages. Search ".edu" domains.

RefDesk - Simple internet fact checker and search engine. Search bar is on the left hand side. draws from over 7,000 sources to provide users access to over 150 million documents

United Nations data reports -huge resource for statistics from all countries around the world

Google Arts and Culture - Virtual 3D tours of places around the world, can visiti museum, archive, government document and artifact collections
