Before you engage in a new CAS Experience, ask yourself the following:
Is it a real task that I am going to undertake?
Does it have real consequences for other people and/or for me?
What do I hope to learn from getting involved?
What can I reflect on during this activity?
Your CAS activities should involve:
Deep involvement (rather than a passive role)
Real value (for the student and other people/environment)
Real reflection (you can find meaning in what you accomplished)
If you've considered these questions above, and you have determined that this is a valuable experience for you to participate in, add it to your CAS Portfolio on ManageBac for CAS Coordinator approval.
Please ensure that you have your parent or guardian's permission to participate in all events!
Service events MUST have an adult supervisor present (not a family member).
