Class Overview
In our class, we will have lots of fun while learning the importance of exercise and staying healthy. Our mission is for all students to feel comfortable and safe in order to engage them in physical activity as much as possible. We want to make PE enjoyable for all students; to make that dream come alive we will explore many ways to exercise and stay active. We are very excited to meet all of you and we hope you all have a great school year!

About Coach Fitzgerald
Welcome everyone, I hope you all are ready to get physically active! I am excited to be your P.E. teacher this year (along with Coach Hanson). My name is Coach Fitzgerald and this will be my second year teaching physical education.In addition to teaching I also coach high school basketball and baseball. I have a bachelors degree in exercise science. 2 fun facts about me 1. I am originally from Baltimore,md and decided to move to Fayetteville after I graduated from college. 2. I have been a student athlete (football,basketball,baseball) for 16 out of the 25 yrs of my life. I can’t wait to meet you guys and help you learn and practice good healthy life habits.
About Coach Hanson
First and foremost, I am very excited to be teaching everyone in this school. My name is Coach Hanson and I will be one of the teachers teaching Physical Education (PE). I am the oldest child out of 8 and I love being a big brother. The next thing everyone should know is that I am a exercise & sports fanatic. I am a big Duke Blue Devils fan and an even bigger Boston Celtics fan. I don’t have a favorite NFL team but I love the sport and watch the NFL often. I am very proud to be a bronco, as I graduated from Fayetteville State University! I was born and raised in Hope Mills, North Carolina and I still live there today. I have one beautiful dog and his name is (of course) Duke.
