Health Occupations Students of America -
A student led organization for future health professionals. Students become a member of this organization by being a member of the Health Professions and Therapies program, paying the dues, and attending the meetings. Students will attend meetings that encourage them to be interactive, influential, and impactful to their community as future health professionals.
Membership forms on canvas pages - $22 HOSA - all due on/by Sept. 5 - checks can be made out to Monacan or cash is accepted.
Freshmen - Seniors:
-Are eligible to become members of HOSA.
Sophomores - Seniors:
-Eligible to attend the State and National Conferences.
State Leadership Conference - Students who are interested in attending the VA Leadership HOSA conference will work with a team or as individuals to compete with other HOSA members from across the state in various health competitions. Students will need to be active members in HOSA to be able to participate in the state level. State Leadership is TBD.
Top winners in each category from State Leadership Competition will be eligible to go to the National Competition in Indianapolis, IN June 17-20, 2026.
