Our Story
How we received the suitcase.
How we received the suitcase.
Roadblocks that were encountered.
When this project was first started, students had no idea what to do. There was no information to go off of, and that was just one of the roadblocks that the first classes hit during this investigation. This school year, some of the hardest things were getting records and knowing where to tie things together. Planning the gathering and making sure everything is good before the family members come here has also proved to be difficult too.
How COVID affected the project :
The first class got shut down in the spring of 2019 by COVID before they really got to start. That put off the project for one and a half years, and it finally picked back up in October of 2021.
What happened the first time :
During the 2021-2022 school year, Mrs. Rockenbach's students held a gathering for the family to come and hear about all they have done. It went very well and we were able to get some personal feedback and helpful information from the family about Leonard Kelley.
Current process now :
Thanks to the work of Mrs. Rockenbach's previous students, we were able to pick back up with the work. To wrap up this presentation we have been tying up any loose ends and building off of information that was already known.
