UNIVERSITY OF BRASILIA TRANSPORTATION LAW RESEARCH GROUP
The Transportation Law Research Group (Portuguese acronym GETRA/UnB), established in 2015, is a study group affiliated to the School of Law Center on Law and Regulation (Portuguese acronym NDSR/UnB).
The object of GETRA/UnB is to research and discuss current legal issues in the regulation of land, waterway and air transport in Brazil, keeping in perspective the multidisciplinarity and interfaces between different branches of national and international law.
With this characteristic, GETRA/UnB maintains regular cooperation with the NDSR groups and with the Study Group on Private International Law, International Trade and Human Rights (GDIP/UnB) on topics of common interest. In its activities, GETRA/UnB seeks to offer an ethical, plural and open environment for collaboration between professors, researchers, students and professionals from the public and private sector, and its policy is not to issue opinions on the topics researched or discussed by its collaborators and participants.
GETRA/UnB participants are encouraged to maintain a regular presence at the events and to present relevant and challenging topics for discussion. In order to further qualify the group's presence in academic debates, its participants are also encouraged to seek a growing presence in the SCOPUS index of academic production, with publications related to the topics discussed.

O Grupo de Estudos em Direito dos Transportes, da Universidade de Brasília (GETRA/UnB), fundado em 2015, está vinculado ao Núcleo de Direito Setorial e Regulatório.
O GETRA/UnB tem por objeto a pesquisa e discussão de temas jurídicos atuais da regulação dos transportes terrestres, aquaviários e aéreo no Brasil, mantendo em perspectiva a multidisciplinaridade e as interfaces entre diversos ramos do direito nacional e internacional. Com essa característica, o GETRA/UnB mantém cooperação regular com os grupos do NDSR e com o Grupo de Estudos em Direito Internacional Privado, do Comércio Internacional e Direitos Humanos (GDIP/UnB) em temas de interesse comum.
Em suas atividades, o GETRA/UnB busca oferecer um ambiente ético, plural e aberto de colaboração entre professores, pesquisadores, estudantes e profissionais do setor público e privado, e tem por política não emitir opinião sobre os temas pesquisados ou discutidos por seus colaboradores e participantes.
Os participantes do GETRA/UnB são incentivados a manter presença regular nos eventos e a apresentar temas relevantes e desafiantes para discussão. Com a finalidade de qualificar ainda mais a presença do grupo nos debates acadêmicos, seus participantes também são incentivados a buscar uma crescente presença no índice SCOPUS de produção acadêmica, com publicações relacionadas aos temas debatidos.
