I am a hometown girl that was blessed to grow up in Cedarville. I love spending time with my family, especially my four nephews and my niece!
In my free time, I enjoy eating chocolate, reading, hiking, watching football, and spending time with my family and friends.
I attended Cedar Cliff schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. I earned a Middle Childhood Education degree with a concentration in Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies from Cedarville University in 2008. After graduation, I taught at North Dayton School of Discovery in Dayton for two years. After that I spent a year substitute teaching in order to work on a K-12 Reading Endorsement through Wright State University. For eight years I taught at Springboro Schools in a variety of roles including a reading intervention specialists and both a 4th and 5th grade Reading/Social Studies teacher. In the summer of 2020, I completed a Gifted Endorsement degree through the University of Cincinnati and in the summer of 2025, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching. I am excited to begin my sixth year at Cedarville and my 16th year of teaching!
