Reading: This week we will finish reading Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library! Students will take a final quiz over the last half of the book next Thursday. In order to provide a good balance between fiction and nonfiction text, students will do an "Author Study" in which they will read an informational passage about a famous author referenced in Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library. Our focus for this week will be the author Rick Riordan.
ELA: Due to Spring Break, Easter weekend, and state testing coming up the next few weeks, students will have an altered vocabulary routine. Before Spring Break, students received a new set of vocabulary words (Latin Roots: aqua & port) and will take the quiz on Thursday, April 2nd.
