Reading: This week students will use our textbook to read a tall tale titled "Davy Crockett Saves the World". While reading this story, students will analyze story elements of not only this tall tale, but other famous ones as well. Students will wrap up studying flashback and foreshadow.
ELA: On Thursday, students will take their weekly vocabulary quiz (Homophones*). On Friday, students will receive a new set of spelling words (mem- & tran-) for their upcoming test on Thursday, October 1st.
