Reading: This week students finish a study of "The Gold Coin". We will continue to review various skills with this text including identifying story elements, analyzing our thinking when reading, and finding evidence of characterization.
ELA: This week students will work on drafting and editing their anti-bucket list. On Thursday, students will take their weekly vocabulary quiz over Synonyms 1*.On Friday, students will receive a new set of vocabulary words (Synonyms 2*) for their upcoming quiz on Thursday, October 15th.
*These words are different from the 4th grade list
