Calendar

The speech season begins with practice in September and ends with the IHSA State Finals in February. This award winning team has produced several state finalists over the years. Speech Team members participate in public speaking and dramatic speaking events. They travel all over the state during the season to compete against other top schools.

  2. Sat. Nov, 12th: Granite City

  3. Sat. Dec, 3rd: Carbondale (We are hosting!)

  4. Sat. Dec, 10th: Harrisburg

  5. Sat. Jan, 14th: Chatham overnight trip

  6. Sat. Jan, 21st: Belleville West

  7. Sat. Feb, 4th: Regionals Waterloo

  8. Sat. Feb,11th: Sectionals Belleville West

  9. Fri - Sat. Feb, 17th -18th: State Peoria

Snack Sign-Up

Every tournament, our students are giving their best effort when performing their speeches. So why not support them with some snacks to fuel them though out their rounds?

Sign-up to bring snacks or drinks for 1 or more tournament dates. Please refrain from bringing homemade goods (sorry!).
