Lunch and Break
Parent reminder:
Lunch will be provided to all pupils who request lunch (we will never leave a child without food at lunch)
Snacks sold at break time may be refused if your ParentPay account has not been topped up
Each pupil has a £5.10 daily limit for food purchases (this can be adjusted if parents request this)
There is a two-item limit for snacks sold during breaktime - this will ensure that the daily limit will allow for lunch purchase
Free School Meal recipients will have to top up ParentPay for breaktime purchases
Hot lunches are £2.50 or £3.00 with a drink token
Cold lunches are £2.00 or £2.50 with a drink token
School Photographs
Official Photos will be taken of pupils in Years 7, 10 and 12 next Monday 15th September for your child's school records.
Please ensure all the correct uniform is worn. You will also have the opportunity to purchase your child's picture.

Junior Journal
Our school’s very own newspaper club, the Junior Journal, is starting again from next week.
We are looking for anyone with an interest in writing or editing to join - regardless of ability or year group!
Junior Journalists are free to write about whatever piques their interest. There are many fantastic opportunities in this club, such as working collaboratively on a project, learning to manage the graphic design of the issue on a computer, and even a half-termly opportunity for your article to be featured in a local newspaper! The club is run by myself and Ms Riley, and meetings are every Thursday from 3.10 to 3.50pm. We hope to see many new faces there!

Homework at CCF
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are aware that you may have received an email from Seneca. This is because some departments in the school use Seneca for homework setting as the resources match our curriculum and it allows an effective way to monitor homework. However, as this is not the case for all departments, we ensure that all homework, including Seneca homework, is always put on Google Classroom so there is one platform where all homework for each pupil can be seen for ease. Please do encourage your child to check their Google Classrooms for their homework for this academic year. If your child does not yet have a Google Classroom for a certain subject, please bear with us as this should all be set up by the end of next week.
Thank you for your support.
Mr Lee
Assistant Headteacher
