Updates for the Parents/Carers of Christ’s College Finchley
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Dear families,
I was delighted to hear that three of our Year 13 students: Theo, Timi and Nathan, have received offers from Oxford this week. Being offered a place at one of the most prestigious universities in the world encapsulates our motto of advance all the way and is testament to their hard work, supported by their families, and everyone who has taught and supported them over the years. We are very proud of them, and of all of our Year 13 students who have worked incredibly hard towards their mock examinations, which finished this week, and over the course of their studies so far.
This afternoon saw our Year 11 mock results event and Year 11 pupils received the results of their mock examinations in a set up similar to how they will receive their results on GCSE results day which takes place on 20 August 2026. This is an important opportunity for Year 11 pupils to celebrate their achievements and to consider how to maintain or improve their grades over the coming months. Year 11 parents’ evening takes place on Wednesday 21 January to allow parents of Year 11 pupils to speak to your child’s teachers about their progress and areas to work on further.
I am sure I share the views of families when watching the news as events across the globe continue to shock and sadden. I am aware that there are families from areas of the world that are suffering at the moment and would like to remind you that we are here to support you and your children. Please encourage your child to speak to a member of staff if they require support and please contact the school via the main office (info@ccfplus.com) if we can provide help.
I would like to wish you all a lovely weekend.
Kind regards,
Dr Ruth Hill
Headteacher
