Youth Business Bootcamp – Haringey

Dream of being your own boss? Let’s make it real, the Youth Business Bootcamp is for young people in Haringey who want to start a real business, make money ethically, and learn how entrepreneurship actually works, not just theory. Delivered by Ultra Education CIC, this programme takes you from idea → brand → product → launch. By the end of the bootcamp you’ll leave with a startup ready to go and have learnt all there is to know.

Join us for a free 3-day Youth Sustainability Bootcamp designed for young people in Brent who want to explore sustainability in a fun, practical, and creative way. Delivered by Ultra Education CIC, this bootcamp will bring young people together for interactive workshops, hands-on activities, creative challenges, and discussions that explore how we can all play a part in creating a better future. Explore sustainability through hands-on activities, take part in challenges, discuss green ideas and real-life action, build teamwork and learn more about creating change.

Leadenhall pop up market - youth entrepreneur business fair

Come down and see the youngest and brightest entrepreneurs showcase their products and services at this inspirational Youth Pop Up. These young entrepreneurs DO WHAT THEY LOVE, make money from it and motivate and inspire their communities. Visitors are free or £25 for young entrepreneurs under 18 who would like to exhibit. The Army has been awarded 1st place in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers
The Army offers apprenticeships that help young people build skills, confidence and a long‑term career while earning a full salary and working towards nationally recognised qualifications. Ranked among the UK’s top apprenticeship employers, with over 39 schemes across areas like engineering, logistics and healthcare, around 90% of soldiers start an apprenticeship as part of their Initial Trade Training. With pathways from GCSE to degree level, there are progression routes to suit a wide range of interests and ambitions.

Exciting Opportunity with Factory Studio - In-person and Remote Work Experience (for Year 12 students)
We currently have four placements available with Factory Studios in London, all focused on sound and music across film, TV, advertising, and immersive media. These include:
Two one-day insight sessions on 28 April and 30 April (14:00–18:00)
Two week-long placements from 29 June – 3 July and 13 July – 17 July (10:00–15:00)
These opportunities are open to students aged 16–19 and would particularly suit those interested in media, film, music, or creative technology.

Football Academy at Kingston College (for Y10 students)

Young male football-loving players can study for an Academic Qualification while training. The Men’s Football Academy allows players train/play football whilst studying an academic qualification allowing them to pursue their sporting ambitions while completing one of the following full-time courses: •BTEC Level 1 Directed Pathways •BTEC Level 2 in Sport in conjunction with Bedfont Sports Football Club •BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sport and Exercise Science •BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sports Coaching
The London UK University & Apprenticeship Search fair will feature:
- Over 120 Exhibitors including: Russell Group, red brick, modern institutions and apprenticeship providers.
- An extensive selection of Seminars including: UCAS personal statement, Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, Life at University and Student Finance.
- New Apprenticeship Hub - A dedicated area with expert advise for any students thinking about taking an apprenticeship.
- Interactive demonstrations
- Free student advice brochure and access to recorded seminars.
- Teachers’ and coordinators’ relaxation area where school staff will be provided with drink vouchers.
- Free coach/minibus parking
The event is ideal for Year 13s who will be applying for university, HE courses or apprenticeships. As well as Year 12s who will be starting to make decisions about their post-18 education and career choices. The fair is completely free to attend.
