What?
The annual Section V Youth Activation Summit! This event offers students in the YAC or Unified Club an opportunity to connect with their peers, share best practices, and explore what it means to be a leader of inclusion within their local and neighboring school communities. Topics covered at the summit may include:
Building a Unified Leadership Team
National Banner Standards of Unified Champion Schools
Whole School Engagement Events, Fans in the Stands
New to Unified (Freshman and Sophomores)
Post-High School Plans (Juniors and Seniors)
& more
The YAC summit is primarily student-led. Let me know if you would like to present at the summit about some exciting things we are doing here at CCCSD. We could talk about our whole school "game night," recognition nights (Senior nights, parent nights), team celebrations, popsicle Wednesdays, and more!
