Mrs. Adams

My name is Stephanie Adams. This will be my 18th year teaching, and my 2nd year at Parkway Elementary School. I grew up in Columbia County and graduated from Evans High School. I attended Augusta State University and received a degree in Early Childhood Education. I recently earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Advanced Educational Studies. My family includes my husband Brian and our daughters Brinlee (11) and Peyton (7).
I enjoy a good laugh. My hobbies include reading and obsessing over Clemson football! I also enjoy wearing orange and purple, not the TN orange color and not GA red. We enjoy spending time at the lake ono ur boat and going to new places. I will be teaching reading and social studies this year, and I am looking forward to my first year here at PES!

Hi! My name is Bob Bonchack. I am new to Parkway Elementary this year, but this will be my 17th year teaching elementary students. I (very) recently moved from Maryland to Georgia, where I spent the last 16 years teaching special education, math and science. I hold degrees from the Pennsylvania State University and Alvernia University. My family includes my wife Megan, my daughter Amelia (6), and our dog Kylo. I'm very excited to be a part Parkway Elementary and meet the incoming class of fifth graders!

My name is Mary Chavous. I am looking forward to my 20th year of teaching. This will be my 2nd year at Parkway Elementary. I am an Augusta native and a graduate of UGA (Bachelors) and Augusta University (Masters). My husband Jimmy and I have 2 beautiful daughters, Sophie (11) and Claire (7). I love cooking and playing any type of games. I am confident this year will be a great one!

My name is Susan Dachenhausen. I am excited to start my 16th year. This is my second year at Parkway Elementary. I grew up in Athens, GA and went to school in Oconee County. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University with a Personalized Learning Endorsement. I have my gifted and math endorsement. My family includes my husband, Chase, and my three daughters Emma (11), Avery (9), and Chloe (6). We have 1 dog, Wilson, a golden retriever chow mix.

My name is Allison Renew. I was born and raised in the CSRA and I am an alumni of Greenbrier High School. I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Endorsement at Augusta State University. This is my 18th year teaching. I have taught pre-k, 1st, and 2nd grades.
My husband and I live in the Grovetown area with our daughter, Katelynn (11), and our son, Ryan (6). In my spare time, I enjoy shopping and watching movies. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Wildcat family and I cannot wait to see you shine!
