Divide Whole Numbers

5.NR.2.2 Fluently divide multi-digit whole numbers (up to 4-digit dividends and 2-digit divisors no greater than 25) to solve practical problems.

Strategy used for division: Partial Quotient Strategy or Area Model Strategy. 

Students are not to use the standard algorithm of division (long division - old math way) until 6th grade. Students in 5th grade are still developing their understanding of division. Please review the class slides to see how the strategies were taught in class!
