Orchestra

Welcome to orchestra!  I am excited that you joined us for a great 1st year at Lakeside High! Below you will find important details about our new orchestra program.  The website will be updated throughout the year with our events that you don't want to miss! 

Please read through the Syllabus and take note of concert attire.

Concert dates:

October 7 - 6:00 Pm - Call 5:15

December  - 6:00 PM - Call 5:15

April 24 - Arts at the Plaza - Time TBD

All State Orchestra 

March 4-6, 2027 - Athens GA

All State is an auditioned orchestra that is open to the entire state 6th-12th grade.

Students must have at least 3 years of experience and know 3 octave scales and learn the audition excerpt.  

There are two rounds of auditions: 

District: October 24 - Augusta, GA

State:  January 16 - The Westminster Schools -Atlanta, GA
