When you sponsor the Harry Potter Club, you are investing in a unique blend of reading, fellowship, and education. The sponsorship helps foster a love for literature, enhances community building between students, and promotes creativity through club activities. Additionally, sponsors are directly contributing to the library's resources providing valuable materials that enrich the educational experience and support lifelong learning.
Would you like to become one of our sponsors? All donations are tax-deductible!
We will gladly take any donations, but if you would like specific ideas on what would be most useful to the club activities, here are some suggestions:
Funds for events/supplies
Breakfast celebrations are held on the Thursdays after finishing each book. (Sept. 19, Oct. 10, Nov. 7, Dec. 12, Feb. 23, Mar. 27).
Holiday Celebrations:
December 19, 2024, will be our Hogwarts Holiday party with food, and gift sharing.
March 27, 2025, is the last day of the Harry Potter club and will have a huge year-end celebration where we will award the House Cup!
Donations of Harry Potter-themed items
We would love for each of our students to feel connected to their house. If there are any hats, shirts, scarves, robes, costumes etc. that are Harry Potter-themed we would love to provide them for students to wear while in the club.
We would also like to have trinkets and item giveaways. Students are working hard to earn their house points, and monthly surprise giveaways will help to promote the joy, as well as encourage those to keep reading and earning points.
Food Donations
Do you own a food truck or restaurant? Or would you love to support one of our Book Celebrations or Holiday Parties? We would love to have any food items or even a sponsored spread! From individual finger foods, to a full meal we would appreciate it all!
Gift cards/ vouchers/ coupons
We will be giving prizes away to students throughout the year, as well as events in which they can earn a prize. We would love to be able to offer them a gift card, or win a voucher (like a free kid meal with parent purchase at a restaurant), or coupons that benefit them.
Any gift card would be appreciated, including, but not limited to, Barnes and Noble, restaurants, GameStop, Target, Amazon, Roblox, etc.
Prizes/ fun items/ other
Students are currently over-the-moon for the adorable pocket-sized hand sanitizers from places like Bath and Body Works.
Personal arts and craft supplies; students love having their own colored pencils/ crayons/ sketch books or journals
Stickers galore
We would love to be able to give away a full set of books to the House Cup winners. We have 8 students in each house, so we would need 8 sets to give away at the end of the year.
Harry Potter treats and Snacks are always a fun surprise; Bertie Botts every Flavor Beans, Chocolate Frogs, Fizzing Wizbees etc.
Decorations
Coming into a cozy decorated space always makes for a thrilling experience. We would love to have a splattering of Harry Potter items in the room such as Harry Potter posters, owls, mandrakes, backdrops, wands, decals, blankets, tapestries, scarves, hats, fake plants/ivy, etc.
