Please take a moment to be PROUD of yourself!  You conquered AP Seminar! I am already impressed and proud. 

I know that you have a lot of questions and concerns about the upcoming year. I am here to hear about them all.  Previously, the AP Research had about an 80-85% pass rate, so I am confident we can keep that record.  I give AP Research kids a lot of room to breath and work how they want, but I will be checking in and leaning on you to get things done. 

Really quick: 

• AP Research is a completely solo activity, no group work, but you can help one another and should! 

• If you meet all the deadlines and do the work, you will have an A. Easy.  Every previous Research student who submitted their paper had an A.

• There is/was "summer" work, but it is not due on the first day, so please do not get stressed. It is an assignment to help you narrow your focus for your topic. Please do it faithfully and completely. I am not grading it on accuracy. I am looking at it for ideas to help you get started. If you do it half way, or gloss over it, you're only hurting yourself.
