AP EUROpean History

Welcome to AP European History

AP European History is a demanding college-level course that centers around five themes and 19 key concepts from 1450 to the present. It tests the boundaries and conditions of European society through innovative lesson plans and interactive lectures. AP Euro will cover political, economic, religious, social, intellectual, and artistic trends within nine historical thinking skills. The course will help improve the ability to analyze historical documents and express historical understanding in writing and presentation. The course will fully prepare students to take part in the re-designed AP European Exam this May. The redesigned AP exam format will include 55 multiple choice questions, 3 short answers, a Document-Based Question, and a Long Essay.
