As mentioned before, for my final product, I managed to build a web page with the goal of informing the CCB 10th grade academic community (parents, teachers and students) about the curriculum and how it could be improved. The webpage was constructed in a series of sections; the first one is the home page, which briefly shows the topic that is being treated . The second section “about us” contains a detailed introduction to the topic, the goal and an explanation of what impulsed me to commence this project(see extract 7) . Third, this stage consists in informing the community about the curriculum, Proyecto Educativo Institucional (PEI) (Institutional Educative Project) , and the current scholar system with the intention of making them realize some aspects that can be improved(see extract 8 ). The fourth section contains detailed information about multiple of the key elements that are being left out of the scholar system and explains their importance for the future of all students (see extract 9). The fifth section is called “Make a change”. In this stage the different perspectives of teachers, parents and students are shown through different surveys (see extract 10) The sixth section is the forum; It is meant to reunite the three members of the academic environment (parents,teachers and students) in several discussions regarding meaningful topics about curriculum, education; what they would like to learn among others, so that they can all come up with solutions for the problems presented with their own points of view and ideas, with the resources given in the page as a helping/guidance tool (see extract 11). Finally there is a section of “more information” which gives the users all the links and assures them that the information they just learned is reliable.(see extract 12) By all the above mentioned I am certain that the project was successful as it managed to accomplish the goal of informing the community about the severe issue as well as providing them with an ideal environment to collaborate to solve it.
