Welcome to the CCA Family Resources Page!
As the Counselor and Academic Advisor for CCA, I created this page to help parents and students navigate their time here at CCA from elementary through junior and high schools and beyond. You will find links to resources covering a variety of topics including academics, social and emotional well being, college and career help, and academic organizations such as TAPPS and NHS. These topics are often broken down into elementary, junior high, and high school levels so that families with students of all ages can benefit from the information provided. If you have any questions or would like any other topics covered, please reach out to me at anytime at aburrow@ccawarriors.com.

Important Upcoming Dates
Course selection for returning students is now complete. Here are some important upcoming dates to be aware of for next school year.
April: Students who requested dual credit classes but do not meet PSAT score requirements or need to take a placement test will be sent information of next steps. You will be placed in the course you currently meet until requirements for advanced class are met.
May: Students who meet the requirements will be tested to see who is qualified to take Alg 1 in 8th grade. More information was given out at parent meetings earlier this semester.
June: Students will be sent a list of courses that they are signed up for. If you did not get a course you requested it may not have had enough students for the class to make, it may have already been full, or honors and dual credit requirements may not have been met. You will have 2 weeks to request a course change at that time.
June: Juniors who made top 10% will be notified through mail.*
June: 9th graders going into 10th grade who are eligble to apply to NHS will be notified by mail.*
July: NHS applications due (see application form for final due date)
August: Students who make it into NHS will be notified near the beginning of school
August: Student's final schedules will be sent out two weeks prior to the start of school.
*Please make sure your mailing address is up to date in Skyward/Facts to ensure you receive any mailed communications.
