On September 16, 2025, the newly hired temporary permanent faculty members namely, Ms. Dyanara B. Azaña (middle), Ms. Mary Joan M. Bustamante (inner left), Ms. Maribel S. Capal (inner right) participated in an orientation at the Office of the Human Resource Management Officer (HRMO), Calabanga Campus. The session covered their benefits, duties and functions, followed by the formal signing of their appointments.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Benjamin C. Ibarra Jr. (rightmost), Campus HRMO, together with Dr. Jennifer V. Perez (leftmost), Dean of the College of Industrial Technology (COT). This marks the start of their commitment to contribute to the University’s mission of academic excellence and service to the community.
CBSUA warmly welcomes the new members of the academic family and looks forward to their meaningful contributions in shaping the future of the students and the institution.

Dr. Jennifer V. Perez successfully graduated with the degree Doctor in Hospitality Management from the Philippine Women’s University, while Ms. Mary Joyce V. Asor completed her Master of Arts in Education Major in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Nueva Caceres.
Their accomplishments stand as an inspiration to colleagues and students alike, reflecting the University’s commitment to academic advancement and professional growth.

COT Faculty to Hold Re-Orientation Seminar

The College of Industrial Technology (COT) will hold its Re-Orientation Seminar with the theme “Empowering COT Faculty through Self-Discipline and Appreciation on the Role of Leadership” on September 23–24, 2025, at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture–Calabanga Campus and Kiudkad The Last Resort, Siruma, Camarines Sur. The two-day event will feature talks on “Designing for Impact: Crafting Effective Instructional Materials” by Mr. Jerome M. Hipolito and “Recognizing and Enhancing Leadership Roles to Cultivate a Sustainable and Resilient College Environment” by Ms. Gladdy Ann Sarate, which aim to strengthen instructional practices and leadership appreciation among faculty members. Alongside these sessions, team-building activities will be conducted to foster collaboration, camaraderie, and a stronger sense of community, reflecting COT’s continuing commitment to faculty development and the cultivation of a resilient academic environment.
