The applications are now open for the Indigenous Pathways Program. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
Pathways is a paid, full-time, nine-month learning and development opportunity for First Nations, Inuit and Métis who are seeking to grow careers at CBC. Host teams partner with Pathways to recruit and support candidates, who hone their skills as part of an Indigenous peer cohort while receiving personalized development opportunities. Originally piloted in local newsrooms, the program expanded last year to include positions in Entertainment, Marketing Communications and Digital Strategy and Product. If you have any questions about the Pathways program, reach out to Kris Clemens at kris.clemens@cbc.ca.

2026 Mentoring for Temps and Early Career employees HAS KICKED OFF IN JANUARY
In its sixth year the Mentoring Program is bigger than ever - expanding to 12 locations/departments. Our newest locations for the program are - Calgary, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. The program returns to bureaus in British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario Smaller Markets along with CBC Ottawa local and Parliamentary bureaus; and to the News Network and Network Audio departments in Toronto. The program will run for 6 months ending in June. Wishing all the participants much success.
