Extended Homeroom Period
Extended Homeroom Period
To allow for a longer car line and breakfast changes, some students will enter from 8:45 - 9:00 and other will enter from 9:00 - 9:15. Homeroom period / news show (9:05-9:15) will go until 9:15. The first expressive art class will begin at 10:05 to allow for potentially late busses and students eating breakfast.

The Expressive Arts schedule will remain the same, however, all of the Expressive Arts teachers will go into the classrooms to deliver their instruction.

Band will be set up on the stage with the chairs spaced out accordingly. Individual lessons will be split with some being held in the side stage lesson room and other being held in the music room since music will be pushed into classrooms.

It is our plan to eliminate all after-school events such as grade level plays, concerts, Meet the Teacher Night, Book Fairs, Title One Nights, Halloween parade, Thanksgiving Lunch etc... We will do our best to convert some the listed evening events into virtual events when possible. We will also hold parent teacher conferences virtually in November.

Birthdays may be recognized in the school setting but no food / beverages will be allowed in the building for birthday parties.

Pre schedule recess times we will be set and followed very strictly. No use of playground equipment or playground balls, jump rope. Classrooms will be separated at recess and the number of class at recess will be greatly reduced and students from different classroom will not be able to interact during recess.

K, 1 , 2 - use classroom restrooms - one at a time. 3rd and 4th - one person out of each room at a time. If someone is in the restroom students must wait in the hallway. until the lone person in the bathroom has exited the area.
