Yes - Students video will be off when the first come into the meeting. However, at the teachers request and if the students is comfortable with it, they can turn on their video.
No - At the moment our students DO NOT need accounts. They will simply participate in meetings hosted by teachers. Students can simply 'JOIN' a meeting by entering the code you provide them or clicking a link that you have sent them.
By default the recording will be saved to the HOST's catholictas.zoom.us account. The host, probably you, can login to catholictas.zoom.us to view all recordings, set passwords and get access to shareable links for use on your LMS.
You can even alter your recording settings in the settings menu, under Recording.
Yes - However, you need to ensure that all the participants understand that you are about to begin recording. With very few exceptions we recommend you ask all students to turn off their video before starting the recording. You should have a think about using passwords on the cloud recording to prevent unauthorised access and turning off the ability for viewers to download a copy of the meeting.
Yes - By clicking 'participants' you will see a list of users. However over the students you need, select MORE and then 'Turn off Video' from the submenu.

Yes - You can prearrange alternative hosts for your meeting at catholictas.zoom.us, by adjusting the meeting settings. You can upgrade any participant to a co-host after the meeting has started by clicking participants, hovering over the participant and selecting MORE.
