Student Opportunities

Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) is an intensive residential leadership experience organized by Rotary where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. 9th-12th graders are invited to apply and inquire. If interested, please contact Mrs. Malmquist (kali_malmquist@catawbaschools.net) for more information by January 28th.

The HOBY Leadership program is an esteemed opportunity for sophomore students. Leadership seminars, community service activities, team building, and so much more is what is available through HOBY. SSHS is able to nominate two students to participate in the program, so please contact Mrs. Malmquist (kali_malmquist@catawbaschools.net) by March 12th.
