New Student Enrollments

St. Stephens High School would like to welcome new students for the 2025-26 school year. Enrollments will begin July 8th. 

Please note that enrollments are encouraged to be by appointment and scheduled with the Student Services office.

To enroll a new student, the following procedures and documents are required:

• New Student Online Enrollment - please have this completed prior to coming in to complete the enrollment process

• Please come to the front of the SSHS Campus (located across from the soccer and baseball complexes). Parking is available up the hill by the front entrance. Once parked, please ring the doorbell or call 828-256-9841 for Mrs. Clawson to let you in the building for your scheduled appointment time.

      • Free/Reduced Lunch Application - found here

      • Un-official Transcript from current school (required for class placement) - We will request all other records from previous school upon enrollment.

      • Immunization records - Out of state and private school students will also need an NC Health Assessment. This form is available here

      • Birth Certificate - Student's original birth certificate must be provided with seal (we will make a copy for our records)

      • Driver's License (or picture ID) - of custodial parent/adult registering the student

      • Two proofs of domicile- Each proof must be attached to the current street address and be in the name of the custodial adult registering the student. Examples of such proofs include:

        • • • Utility bill (land line phone, power, water, cable or natural gas)

            • Mortgage or lease agreement

            • Real Estate Property Tax document

            • State or Federal issued driver's license or picture ID with current address

      • Custody papers (if applicable)

      • Name, address and phone number of the school transferring from
