Spring 2026: March 30---Current 6th graders/Rising 7th graders- Sign up for an instrument to play in person at the Meet and Greet held at RBMS on Monday, March 30 from 5-8!  Come down to the band room and write your name beside the instrument you want to play- it's as easy as that! If you want to play drums/percussion: you MUST audition for a spot. We have 8 spots available for next year. Come to the band room anytime between 5 and 8 to sit down one on one with Mrs. Beal to try out- no stress, no prior knowledge on drums required.

Important Dates, Fall/Spring 2025-2026

Required of ALL band students: Winter Band Concert: Monday, Dec. 8 2025 in RBMS Gym

Required of ALL band students: Spring Band Concert: Thursday, May 7 2026 in RBMS Gym

Required of 8th grade band students: 2025-2026

Wednesday, Oct. 22: RBMS Football Game (Band plays in the stands).  Wear your band t-shirt! T-shirt information will go home the first week of school. 

Friday, October 24th: BHHS Football Game (Band plays in the stands, watches BHHS marching band halftime show, students are free to leave after half time).  Wear your band t-shirt!

Monday, Oct. 27: Optional, but highly encouraged - All County Band Auditions

Friday/Saturday November 14 and 15th: All County Band Clinic (only for those that audition and are selected for All County Band)

Required of Jazz Band Students 2025-2026: 

Winter Band Concert: Monday December 7th in RBMS Gym

Spring Jazz Band Concert: Monday, April 27th in RBMS cafeteria (combined with the BHHS jazz ensemble)
