NC VR Adventures are educator and student-created VR experiences aligned to the North Carolina standard course of study. Educators attend professional learning workshops supported by the NC Office of Digital Teaching and Learning and partners. Educators create standards-aligned experiences based on real-world places utilizing virtual reality. The immersive nature of VR empowers educators to reimagine their content and curriculum; to become storytellers and immerse students in the rich history, science, culture and people of our state. Through these experiences, teachers are inspiring students to engage with the beauty and history of our state in ways that they previously never imagined.
