11th Grade
I am pleased to shine a spotlight on Christopher Sigmon and his noticeable growth. He is showing a strong improvement in his presentation skills during class time. I have noticed that he actively participates in class discussions and consistently demonstrates the skills learned during presentations. He is embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, pushing himself out of his comfort zone to expand his abilities.

I wanted to take a moment to highlight Lee Nolan because he works well in a team setting, contributing his skills and ideas while respecting the contributions of others. He also takes ownership of his assigned tasks and fulfills his responsibilities within the team. In addition, he shows respect for his team members, valuing diversity of opinions and treating others with kindness and consideration.

Carlos is such a ray of sunshine in my class. He comes to class with a smile on and leaves with a smile on. He comes to class and automatically goes to the board and does a warmup question. Carlos is always trying his best at everything that he does! I am so very proud of Carlos and I can't wait to see what he becomes in the future!

Erik is a student who has matured tremendously since I first taught him in his sophomore year. He is doing a great job staying on top of everything this year, and he's become a lot more proactive in approaching me with questions when he needs help. I would like to nominate Jaunna-Licia for recognition due to her remarkable improvement in learning a new language. Jaunna-Licia consistently asks insightful questions and actively seeks out opportunities to expand her knowledge. Her enthusiasm for learning and her willingness to embrace challenges not only enhance her own progress but also inspire her classmates. For that reason, I believe she deserves this acknowledgment for her efforts.

Jayce works hard on all of his assignments in Honors English 1. He works well in groups as well as independently. He is not afraid to reach out if he needs assistance. Jayce has an optimistic demeanor and is always willing to help others.

Maddison gets on the bus with another student and always takes the time help a student get on the bus and situated. Maddison knows almost every child's name on the bus and tells them goodbye every afternoon as they get off the bus. She is a great example for others.
