2024 BUNKER HILL HIGH SCHOOL NOVEMBER TEACHER SPOTLIGHT
Each month BHHS Students select a faculty or staff member to spotlight. This can be someone who has had a positive impact on students and who has helped them in some capacity. A faculty or staff member may be spotlighted for various reasons such as their positive attitude, being encouraging, their enthusiasm, demonstrating kindness, work ethic, etc.

Amber Nichols, Math Teacher

Student Comments: She is a great teacher, she makes things even and makes her class room fun and actually helps if we are stuck on math problems. She lets us work together sometimes and gives us alone time to try out the hardest on our work, she helps out a lot and makes a lot of people feel good about themselves. She has been the best math teacher I have ever had and I wish I could have her every year. She actually does math sheets and not just notes or IXL´s or Delta math. She is a funny and great teacher and makes a room light up in an instant. She is amazing and very sweet. She also smells good and is very funny.

Student Comments: I chose Ms.Nichols because she always is willing to help her students and even if it's not with math. She always makes sure everyone has a smile on their faces. Ms. Nichols has already taught me so much. She's always willing to talk even if it's not about school.

Student Comments: I spotlighted Mrs.Doane for November because she is one of the best teachers I have had for my first 2 years of high school. I love her positive energy that she brings when you first walk into her classroom. My favorite memory this year during her class is that right now we are working on the Christmas music for our concert, so when we practice she is always happy when we sing and it makes everyone laugh.

He helps us learn about English in fun ways that no other teacher has done he cracks jokes and he feels like he wants to be here instead of seeing it just as work.

She is always willing to help, always has a positive attitude, and treats all of her students with such gratitude. She doesn't get thanked enough for the amount of work and effort she puts into helping her students succeed and she is just absolutely amazing.

In the club Latino she makes sure to showcase everyone and be able to give their thoughts on projects, she makes sure that the execution of these projects benefits everyone.
