STEP 3-COMPLETE cuny college/ WORK READINESS/UPLOAD ANY REQUIRED PROOF (OCTOBER-NOVEMBER)

Cuny classes /Work Readiness workshops are mandated to be considered for a WLG placement. The meetings will be weekly. You will be required to hand-in any required assignments and any incomplete documents.

This program is designed to be flexible enough to allow students to complete their school day and work after school/weekends.

1. Learn and Earn (9 weeks): Get ready for online college-level courses starting in October through December 2023. You'll also explore careers in engaging sessions. 4 hrs weekly. Earn a total of $540 and a college credit while learning.

STEP4-InterNship placement(december)

Participants will be selecting Internship placement from November 27th until December 6th via this same website

NOTE: You are only confirmed for a job once you will sign a Worksite Referral Form.

STEP5- START WORKING/HOW DO YOU GET PAID? (january 2nd-april 14th)

'Older Youth," whom are 16-21 year old by October 23rd ONLY: Must enter their hours electronically at this website (click here.) The website will be available weekly, every Friday to Saturday of the week. Hours must be approved by supervisors for payments to be processed.

Direct Deposit is strongly recommended, you can register here for it. Otherwise, you will be mailed a payroll card at the address you provided on your file. Please be mindful that we do not recommend payroll cards and will also have banking info sessions for your convenience.
