Sugar & Spice makes Christmas Nice!

The tradition continues . . . . . for the past 13 years, the Foods I students use about 6 class days to design, bake and decorate gingerbread creations. They are put on display at Monroe Elementary, where the children enjoy voting for their favorites. The project includes learning new food-related technical skills, applying math skills, encouraging a creative art form, exercising teamwork and getting in the holiday spirit!
