Susan was my mentor in college, and her work on the problem of evil changed my life. I came to find that "evil" is not a helpful word to use, and I have been disappointed with Susan's lack of interest in "nuance" since her Left Is Not Woke. Call It Evil is similarly problematic.

That volume also included "The Sixth Mass Extinction Is Caused by Us," which was preceded in a separate volume by "Species Extinction and the Vice of Thoughtlessness - The Importance of Spiritual Exercises for Learning Virtue." Some years later, Chris Haufe and I also wrote "Anthropogenic Mass Extinction: The Science, the Ethics, and the Civics." Finally, much later, there was the philosophy of law article, "Facing Mass Extinction, It Is Prudent to Decolonise Lands & Laws: A Philosophical Essay on Respecting Jurisdiction."
