Cost Behavior
Learning Objective. Students will develop scatter plots and use regression analysis to choose the best of two cost drivers for predicting a company's operating costs. Students will also compare and contrast cost equations, graphs, and cost predictions to those found using the high-low method.

On one worksheet, volume is measured in terms of number of trips taken. On the other worksheet, volume is measured as miles driven. Students complete this Excel workbook according to the directions and submit it for grading.
