We are busy preparing for our very first robotics competition! The competition will take place on April 16 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds and is being sponsored by Fayette County 4H and Penn State University. We have four 5th grade girls and four 5th grade boys taking part in the competition. Building of our Lego EV3 robots has been underway, with groups building their own designs and a uniform stock robot. Students will take place in 5 different competitions which include a slalom race, a drag race and a stock competition. Stay tuned to see how we do and wish us luck!

Wonder Workshop Robotics Competition

Wonder Workshop, the makers of Dash and Dot, hold an online robotics competition every year for children ages 6-8 and 9-12. Our 2 teams entered competing in three rounds of missions over a five month period! They have to provide solutions for real world science and technology challenges by programming Dash and Dot.
