Over the course of two days, retired band director Michael Struzik of Rochester worked with each of Carthage's four bands. He shared great performance techniques, practice strategies, and rehearsal tips with our students. Thank you, Mr. Struzik!

Our students were judged among 3,945 individual entries submitted this year to the CNY Scholastic Art Show along with 118 portfolios. Students receiving a Gold Key will be sent on for National Scholastic Judging.

Members of the Carthage HS Band and Choir attended the Backtrack Vocals performance at Trinity Church in Watertown.
Backtrack is an acapella singing group with a beatboxer. The group performed popular and Christmas tunes.
