ELKS Most Valuable Student
Eligibility: current high school seniors, or equivalent, who are US citizens
Applicants DO NOT need to be related to a member of the Elks.

ELKS Nursing Scholarship
Eligibility: high school senior participating in Health Science curriculum, applied to a post secondary school for nursing located in North Carolina, and actively involved in nursing related activities

DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Scholarships:
DAR offers 28 different scholarships for students in specific areas of study.

DAR Good Citizens Program
Good Citizens Program and Scholarship are intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. Please see Mrs. Davis or Mr. James for the application. Essay portion will be completed on October 22nd during 4th period.

Robertson Scholars Leadership Program:
The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program is a four year, full-tuition, room and board and summer stipend merit scholarship for students who attend Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hil (www.robertsonscholars.org).

SkillsUSA Aerotek Make Your Mark 5 Scholarship
The “Make Your Mark” scholarship program supports the SkillsUSA Career Model and expands the talent pipeline to remove barriers of entry to education and training. Aerotek’s intention is to develop the pipeline of future skilled trades leaders and improve economic outcomes for SkillsUSA members. **Must be a paid member of SkillsUSA for the 2025-2026 school year.

SMART Scholarship
The SMART (Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation) scholarship is a DoD Scholarship program for STEM students.

NC Teaching Fellows
NC Teaching Fellows helps future teachers pay for their teaching program. They believe in recruiting, supporting and equipping future teachers to make a difference in North Carolina schools.

Beaufort Woman’s Club Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to 2 graduating females at Croatan with a 2.5 GPA and planning on attending a tech school, community college, or 4-year university.

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Scholarship
This scholarship is for students planning to enroll in an engineering, architectural, or similar technical field for the 2026-2027 school year.

Coastal Carolina Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship
This scholarship is for a student that is an immediate family member of a Retired US Uniformed Services personnel living in Carteret, Craven, Jones, Beaufort, or Pamlico counties or an immediate family member or an Active Duty US Uniformed Services personnel permanently assigned to a command within the 5 counties listed.

SECU Foundation People Helping People $10,000
SECU Foundation takes an active role in assisting communities across North Carolina because we believe in “People Helping People®.” To support this commitment, the People Helping People scholarship was established to help North Carolina public high school students attend college.

· SECU member or eligible for membership
· NC resident and eligible for in-state tuition
· Attending one of the 16 UNC system universities as a full-time undergraduate

Eunice Riggins Memorial Scholarship
The Eunice Riggins Memorial Scholarship is open to any young woman who is currently graduating from an accredited public high school in North Carolina that follows the NC Standard Course of Study and who expects to enroll in a four-year college or university in North Carolina next fall. Specific eligibility requirements are: Academic rank in top 10% of class, Minimum SAT score of 1220 or ACT composite score of 25, good character and participation in extra-curricular activities (school and community). Financial need is not the primary consideration.

Mary Rose Mills-Linda Rankin Memorial Scholarship
The Mary Rose Mills-Linda Rankin Memorial Scholarship is open to any student who is currently graduating from an accredited public high school in North Carolina that follows the NC Standard Course of Study and who expects to enroll in a four-year NC college or university next fall. Specific eligibility requirements are: Academic rank in top 10% of class, Minimum SAT score of 1290 or ACT composite score of 27, good character and participation in extra-curricular activities (school and community). Financial need is not the primary consideration.

Clare Johnson Marley-Mary Earle Berger Fine Arts Scholarship
The Clare Johnson Marley-Mary Earle Berger Fine Arts Scholarship is open to any student who is currently graduating from an accredited public high school in North Carolina that follows the NC Standard Course of Study and who expects to enroll in a four-year college or university next fall, and who is declaring his/her major in an area of the fine arts. Specific eligibility requirements are: Academic rank in top 20% of class, Minimum SAT score of 1220 or ACT composite score of 25, good character and participation in extra-curricular activities (school and community). Financial need is not the primary consideration. (Samples of talent are required to be submitted with the application.)

This scholarship is for students interested in pursuing higher education in the fields of math or science.

Big Rock Teaching Fellows
The Carteret Education Foundation is offering the 2026 Big Rock Teaching Fellows Scholarship. The purpose of the program is to recruit, prepare, and support graduating high school seniors to attend college or university for preparation as highly effective teachers in the Carteret County Public School System.

Homebuilder's Association Workforce Development Scholarship
Applicants must be attending community college or technical school seeking a career in a skilled trade directly related to residential construction.

Swansboro Rotary Scholarship
Applicants must be graduating seniors from either Croatan or Swansboro High Schools who are enrolled full-time in a community college, four-year college or university. Children and grandchildren of Swansboro Rotary members are ineligible.

This scholarship is intended for Carteret County Public Schools seniors who are pursuing a career in Music Education. Up to two scholarships in the amount of $2000 each will be awarded each year.

Michael Cary Temple Memorial Scholarship
MCT Foundation provides scholarships to Carteret County high school seniors who are pursuing a college education (associate’s or bachelor’s) in agriculture. Agriculture degrees may include agriculture mechanics, agriculture business, animal science, soil science, food/nutrition science, forestry, landscaping, turf management, equipment maintenance, etc.
