ELKS Most Valuable Student
Eligibility: current high school seniors, or equivalent, who are US citizens
Applicants DO NOT need to be related to a member of the Elks.

This is a national scholarship, but state scholarship winners are also pulled from this application!
ELKS Nursing Scholarship
Eligibility: high school senior participating in Health Science curriculum, applied to a post secondary school for nursing located in North Carolina, and actively involved in nursing related activities

DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Scholarships:
DAR offers 28 different scholarships for students in specific areas of study.
Deadline: January 31, 2026
DAR Good Citizens Program
Good Citizens Program and Scholarship are intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. Please see Mrs. Davis or Mr. James for the application. Essay portion will be completed on October 22nd during 4th period.
Deadline: October 24, 2025
Robertson Scholars Leadership Program:
The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program is a four year, full-tuition, room and board and summer stipend merit scholarship for students who attend Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hil (www.robertsonscholars.org).
Deadline: October 15 and November 15
SkillsUSA Aerotek Make Your Mark 5 Scholarship
The “Make Your Mark” scholarship program supports the SkillsUSA Career Model and expands the talent pipeline to remove barriers of entry to education and training. Aerotek’s intention is to develop the pipeline of future skilled trades leaders and improve economic outcomes for SkillsUSA members. **Must be a paid member of SkillsUSA for the 2025-2026 school year.

SMART Scholarship
The SMART (Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation) scholarship is a DoD Scholarship program for STEM students.

NC Teaching Fellows
NC Teaching Fellows helps future teachers pay for their teaching program. They believe in recruiting, supporting and equipping future teachers to make a difference in North Carolina schools.
