About the RAISE Programss

We aim to mirror the functions and initiatives of the DOST Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) Innovation and Technology Center (DPITC) in the region by providing assistance to the regional consortia on intellectual property management and transfer of technologies of selected consortia member institutions (CMIs).
Through the RAISE Program, regional capacity building and mentorship, IP and technology business development and management, strategic partnership and collaboration, and enhanced knowledge will be provided to hasten the commercialization and development of Science and Technology (S&T) based Agri-Aqua enterprise, as well as to maximize the economic potential of S&T innovation in the region.

Strengthen Existing and Forge New Public-Private Partnerships for Research and Development Results Utilization (RDRU)
Illustrating the synergy of RAISE projects: from IP protection and market preparation (Projects 1 and 2) to technology incubation and knowledge promotion (Projects 3 and 4), driving innovation from conception to commercialization.

Agripreneurship Training on Product Development and Enterprise Readiness for MSMEs
On August 5–7, 2025, MSMEs from Barangay Ampayon learned entrepreneurial mindset, food safety, packaging, marketing, and hands-on product preparation, guided by CSU faculty and Caraga Food Innovation Center experts. The event concluded with product showcases and certificates, supporting RAISE’s goal of empowering local agripreneurs with market-ready skills.

The logo for Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) features the following:
The outline of a lightbulb formed by plant saplings, representing growth and vitality in the agricultural sector.
Within the contours of the lightbulb, the Caraga map outline is ingeniously integrated as a filament/flame, symbolizing the region itself. The flame transitions in a gradient from green and gold to orange, reflecting the region's well-known natural resources such as silver and gold ores.
Emphasizing the interconnectedness of agriculture and aquaculture, a subtle fish silhouette is strategically placed within the negative space of the lightbulb.
The text "RAISE" and “CARAGA” are presented in a sans serif typeface (Poppins), accompanied by a dynamic blue arrow waving to the right and pointing upward, symbolizing progress and forward movement.
