CARAGA STATE UNIVERSITY

CaragaStateU produces commercial-grade rice and cultivates 30 Ha of rice field. While almost 100 Ha are utilized by partner community farmers, and another 30 Ha utilized for organic rice production.

The College of Agriculture and Agribusiness (CAA) spearheads the swine production of CaragaStateU. This facility serves both research and academic needs and production services.

With the funding support from Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Science and Technology (DOST), CaragaStateU leads in the technology development in producing pure breed of Patani, the Caraga Black Chicken.

With the support of Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) and the Department of Agriculture (DA), CaragaStateU is a region's leader of Carabao milk and other Dairy products production. CaragaStateU also produces Cattle.

The College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences (CoFES), leads the university's Food Security Program (paBUNGA) by producing various kinds of fruits and vegetables.

With the establishment of DOST's Food Innovation Center (FIC) in CaragaStateU, the university leads in technology development and utilization for after-harvest food processing and packaging.

CaragaStateU also provide avenue for personnel and student alike to contribute in the Merchandise Product design. development, and distribution. This is CaragaStateU's ano ther way or promoting its brand.
