OCEA Scholarship  This scholarship is open to students whose parents/guardians are members of Carson City School District's Certified Teacher's Union OCEA (this is teachers, counselors, etc.) Due February 13, 2026.

Lori Clish Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is open to graduating CHS Seniors who have been raised by a single parent.  Extra points are added for students planning to pursue a career in the arts field, but this is not a full requirement.  Due February 13, 2026. 

** Kerri Ann Oxoby Memorial Scholarship available for graduating seniors who have participated in a sport at CHS or outside of CHS during their senior year and plan on attending UNR in the fall. Due February 21, 2026

CHS Football Booster/Mac Wilson Scholarship Scholarship for seniors who was a member of the CHS Football Team during the 2025 season.

Reno Rodeo Scholarship Scholarship for graduating seniors who plan on attending an accredited Nevada college. Due February 28, 2026

**Jiffy Lube What Drives You? This scholarship is open to graduating Northern Nevada Seniors who plan to attend college in the fall and who complete an essay with the prompt, "What Drives You?" This essay links perfectly with the essay outline CHS teaches! Just add those words in an appropriate place!  Finalists will also have to make a short video on this prompt. Due March 9, 2025. 

John & Grace Nauman Foundation This scholarship is open to graduating CHS Seniors who are planning to attend the University of Nevada, Reno.  The application must be turned into the counseling office, and if you are a finalist, you will be asked to attend a mandatory interview. This scholarship is worth $5,000/year for all 4 years.  DUE TO COUNSELING March 1, 2026. 

PEO X  This scholarship is open to all female CHS Students. Due March 10, 2026

** Carson City Republican Women's Club Scholarship This scholarship is open to all graduating seniors who plan on attending university, community college, or trade school. Due March 14, 2026

** Nevada Agricultural Foundation Scholarship  Scholarship for graduates planning a agricultural related field of study. Application must be postmarked by March 16, 2026, or emailed to info@nevadaagriculturalfoundation.org. Please see Mrs. Coulam in the library if a copy of the application is needed or for mailing assistance.

Robert & Anne Keast This scholarship is open to female CHS students with a 2.5 GPA or higher who have financial need and plan to attend college in the fall.  Due March 17, 2026. 

**Local Elk's Club Scholarship This scholarship is open to CHS seniors whose parent/guardian/grandparent/family member is an active member of the local Elk's Club.  Due March 20, 2026. 

Jake Sullivan Roman Memorial Scholarship Jake graduated from CHS in 2017 and was pursuing a degree at UNR when his life was cut short. Jake was hardworking, loving, and kind to everyone, so this scholarship, in his memory, is awarded to a CHS senior who is much like Jake- active in extracurricular activities and planning to attend college or University in Nevada. Due March 20, 2026. 

Chartwells Scholarship This scholarship is awarded to CHS Seniors who plan to pursue a career in food, culinary or baking, nutrition, agricultural sciences or other food related fields.  Due March 20, 2026. 

Carson Host Lions Club This scholarship is open to graduating CHS Seniors who plan to attend community college or trade school. Requires two letters of rec.  Due March 20, 2026. 

Carson City RTA Scholarship Applicants must plan to attend a Nevada college in the fall and plan to pursue a career in education. Due March 21, 2026

Elks Club Scholarship This scholarship is open to graduating seniors who are a child or grandchild (includes step, foster, etc) of an active Carson City Elks 2177 member.

Timmy Jones & HOSA Scholarship This scholarship is in honor Timmy Jones a beloved CHS Student who was taken too early. It is open to all students interesting in pursuing a trade, and the second scholarship is open to CHS HOSA participants.  Due March 26, 2026. 

** NAHAS Scholarship Available to graduating seniors who are planning on attending UNR, participate in community service and sports. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. If you need a copy, please pick up the application packet from Mrs. Coulam in the library. Must be mailed by March 20 to reach the selection committee by March 27, 2026.  Please see Mrs. Coulam in the library if you need help mailing your application.

** Carson City Masonic Scholarship  Scholarship for graduates that are planning on attending college, university, or trade school.

Holiday with a Hero Scholarship  The Holiday with a Hero  Scholarship is open to any Carson City School District senior who was a participant in the Holiday with a Hero program, is identified as McKinney Vento OR demonstrates significant financial need.  Due March 31, 2026.  

Nevada Bighorn Unlimited Midas Chapter  Scholarship for graduating seniors who have a love of Nevada’s wildlife and the outdoors, and who have an interest in pursuing a career in conserving, managing, protecting, and studying Nevada’s wildlife populations. Applications must be MAILED by March 31, 2026

Retired School Teacher Association Applicants must plan to attend a Nevada college in the fall, plan to pursue a career in education, and be willing to participate in an interview. Due March 31, 2026

CHS Holiday Craft Fair Scholarship Scholarship for seniors who have served credit hours for a minimum of one year and whose parents have also assisted as a volunteer. Due March 31, 2026

Carson/Douglas Farm Bureau This scholarship is open to seniors planning to pursue an ag- related field (food science, agricultural sciences, vet science, welding, etc.) Requires three letters of rec. Due April 1, 2026. 

** Jason and Jordan Marshall Memorial Scholarship Scholarship for graduating seniors in the 2026 class. Student must plan on attending university, college, or trade school Due April 1, 2026

** Nevada Cattlemen's Association Scholarships Three scholarships available!

 NCA Scholarship is available for graduating seniors who plan to attend college or university and are seeking a degree in an agricultural-related field.

 Marvel/Andrae Scholarship is available for graduating seniors who plan on attending college or university and planning on pursuing a degree in agricultural economics, agricultural business, or the animal/meat science fields.

 Walt Leberski Memorial Scholarship scholarship applicants must be born in Nevada and graduating from a Nevada High School, plan on attending college or university and seeking a degree or certificate in an agricultural field.  Applications must be mailed and postmarked by April 1, 2026. Please see Mrs. Coulam in the library if you need help mailing your application.

** Eric Abowd Honorary Scholarship Available to graduating seniors who plan on attending university or college Due April 1, 2026

** CTE Greenhouse Scholarship This scholarship is available for graduating seniors who have completed at least 2 years of a CHS Ag program and who is a FFA member Due April 1, 2026

** Western Nevada Cattlewomen Scholarship is for graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree related to the field of agriculture or natural resources. Application must be mailed by April 10, 2026. If you need a printout of the application or need help mailing it, please see Mrs. Coulam in the library.

College Bound Cadet Scholarship Open to seniors who are currently enrolled in Carson High NJROTC and plan to attend college in the fall.

** Soroptimist Girl of the Month Scholarship Open to graduating females of CHS. Applicants must attend college, university, or trade school at least part time. Due April 10, 2026

** Food For Thought Scholarship The Food for Thought Scholarship is open to any Carson City School District graduating senior who was a participant in the Food for Thought and/or McKinney Vento program(s) at some point during their schooling in Carson City.  

Food for Thought provides a weekend bag of food for students in need. Students who received a bag of food on Fridays from school are recipients of Food for Thought.

Applicants must complete this application in full and be planning to attend a college, university, trade school or occupational training after graduation.

Food for Thought will award a one time scholarship to the selected applicant to assist with fees, food, an funding for continued education. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the college, university, training, or education program of the applicant.

Pony Express Scholarship This scholarship is for graduating seniors who are planning on entering the medical or forestry field. Due April 15, 2026

** NvACD Scholarship Seniors who apply for this scholarship must be Nevada residents, already enrolled or enrolling in post-secondary education. Preference given to students pursuing an education in agriculture, renewable natural resources, or related fields. Due April 15, 2026

NVSRM Scholarship Applicants must be a resident of Nevada, plan on attending college or university, and preference is given to students pursuing an education in renewable resources. Due  April 17, 2026

Carson Valley Quilt Guild Scholarship for graduating students who plan on furthering their education after high school. Due April 27, 2026
