Timmy Jones & HOSA Scholarship This scholarship is in honor Timmy Jones a beloved CHS Student who was taken too early. It is open to all students interesting in pursuing a trade, and the second scholarship is open to CHS HOSA participants.  Due March 26, 2026. 

 NAHAS Scholarship Available to graduating seniors who are planning on attending UNR, participate in community service and sports. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. If you need a copy, please pick up the application packet from Mrs. Coulam in the library. Must be mailed by March 20 to reach the selection committee by March 27, 2026.  Please see Mrs. Coulam in the library if you need help mailing your application.

Retired School Teacher Association Applicants must plan to attend a Nevada college in the fall, plan to pursue a career in education, and be willing to participate in an interview. Due March 27, 2026

 Carson City Masonic Scholarship  Scholarship for graduates that are planning on attending college, university, or trade school.

**NV Dairy Farmers Scholarship  Open to students planning to attend UNR to study agriculture or vet science. Due March 31, 2026. 

Holiday with a Hero Scholarship  The Holiday with a Hero  Scholarship is open to any Carson City School District senior who was a participant in the Holiday with a Hero program, is identified as McKinney Vento OR demonstrates significant financial need.  Due March 31, 2026.  

Nevada Bighorn Unlimited Midas Chapter  Scholarship for graduating seniors who have a love of Nevada’s wildlife and the outdoors, and who have an interest in pursuing a career in conserving, managing, protecting, and studying Nevada’s wildlife populations. Applications must be MAILED by March 31, 2026

CHS Holiday Craft Fair Scholarship Scholarship for seniors who have served credit hours for a minimum of one year and whose parents have also assisted as a volunteer. Due March 31, 2026

NTA Customer Scholarship Scholarship for seniors whose parents are customers of NTA Due March 31, 2026

NTA Christian Memorial Scholarship Applicants must be a dependent of someone who is an Associate Member of the NTA or an Active Member of the NTA

 Nevada Cattlemen's Association Scholarships Three scholarships available!

 NCA Scholarship is available for graduating seniors who plan to attend college or university and are seeking a degree in an agricultural-related field.

 Marvel/Andrae Scholarship is available for graduating seniors who plan on attending college or university and planning on pursuing a degree in agricultural economics, agricultural business, or the animal/meat science fields.

 Walt Leberski Memorial Scholarship scholarship applicants must be born in Nevada and graduating from a Nevada High School, plan on attending college or university and seeking a degree or certificate in an agricultural field.  Applications must be mailed and postmarked by April 1, 2026.  Eric Abowd Honorary Scholarship Available to graduating seniors who plan on attending university or college Due April 1, 2026

CTE Greenhouse Scholarship This scholarship is available for graduating seniors who have completed at least 2 years of a CHS Ag program and who is a FFA member Due April 1, 2026

Kiwanis Club of Carson City Three different scholarships available. Application must be printed and turned in to Mrs. Coulam in the library. Copies also available with Mrs. Coulam. Due April 2, 2026

**Nathan Carstens Memorial Scholarship Nathan Mitchel Carstens was first diagnosed with colon cancer in the spring of 2018. For nearly seven years, he fought courageously through surgeries, treatments, setbacks, and victories—yet cancer never defined him. What defined Nathan was his strength: physical, emotional, and most importantly, spiritual. Even while enduring grueling treatment regimens, he continued to invest in people, build relationships, and live out his faith. That’s just who he was and he made the world a better place because of it. CHS Seniors who are interested must complete an essay displaying their own resilience and plans for the future.  Due April 3, 2026.

**CESA Scholarship The Carson Educational Support Association is offering a scholarship towards any university, college, technical or vocational school of your choice.  You must be a son, daughter, grandson, or grand-daughter of a CLASSIFIED ASSOCIATION MEMBER in the Carson City School District.  To qualify you must be a senior and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

DUE April 3, 2026 

 **Stephen Anderson Memorial Scholarship Open to students who have a 3.0 and who have played a sport (band and theatre count!).  Due April 4, 2026. 

 Western Nevada Cattlewomen Scholarship is for graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree related to the field of agriculture or natural resources. Application must be mailed by April 10, 2026. If you need a printout of the application or need help mailing it, please see Mrs. Coulam in the library.

College Bound Cadet Scholarship Open to seniors who are currently enrolled in Carson High NJROTC and plan to attend college in the fall.

 Soroptimist Girl of the Month Scholarship Open to graduating females of CHS. Applicants must attend college, university, or trade school at least part time. Due April 10, 2026

 Kenny Guinn Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is available for graduating seniors who plan on majoring in elementary or secondary education and plan on teaching in the state of Nevada. Due April 10, 2026

**Families United Scholarship A one time scholarship available to graduating CHS seniors. Must be enrolled in a 4 year undergrad program. 

Due April 13, 2026

Food For Thought Scholarship The Food for Thought Scholarship is open to any Carson City School District graduating senior who was a participant in the Food for Thought and/or McKinney Vento program(s) at some point during their schooling in Carson City.  

Food for Thought provides a weekend bag of food for students in need. Students who received a bag of food on Fridays from school are recipients of Food for Thought.

Applicants must complete this application in full and be planning to attend a college, university, trade school or occupational training after graduation.

Food for Thought will award a one time scholarship to the selected applicant to assist with fees, food, an funding for continued education. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the college, university, training, or education program of the applicant.

**Shane Quilling Memorial Scholarship This memorial scholarship is for CHS underdogs who love to work hard and refuse to give up.  April 15, 2026. 

Pony Express Scholarship This scholarship is for graduating seniors who are planning on entering the medical or forestry field. Due April 15, 2026

 NvACD Scholarship Seniors who apply for this scholarship must be Nevada residents, already enrolled or enrolling in post-secondary education. Preference given to students pursuing an education in agriculture, renewable natural resources, or related fields. Due April 15, 2026

NVSRM Scholarship Applicants must be a resident of Nevada, plan on attending college or university, and preference is given to students pursuing an education in renewable resources. Due  April 17, 2026
