Curiosity and doubt

For this essay, we actually did a group activity where everyone drew a number and the number told you which topic to do. My prompt was about curiosity and doubt. In my essay I had to write an argumentative paper about the relationship between the two and decide if you can only have one or the other or if you can have a little of both. Once we had our topic we got into mini Socratic seminar groups and talked with our group about the evidence that we were given and our prompt. By doing this we were allowed to see different viewpoints on a particular topic. I think being able to recognize different view point made my essay stronger. I think a strength I had was establishing that relationship of different viewpoints. A weakness I had was presenting my claim when I was suppose to. My claim came later in the essay rather than earlier in the essay.
