Principal ~ Kelly Edwards
The primary responsibility of the principal is to maintain a school environment that promotes student learning and safety. The principal is an instructional leader as well as a supervisor of faculty, staff, and students.
Assistant Principals ~ Sheanoka Almon, Annie Charles, Zac Cooper, Chuck Robinson
The assistant principals manage the school day. They are responsible for school safety and student supervision. They maintain school safety by monitoring student behavior and implementing discipline when necessary. Shayna Moses will serve as the Freshman Academy administrator. Counselors ~ Corinne Hindman, Sebastian Hunsinger, Kim Ivester, Rhea Zerr
Counselors help you with concerns or problems that are social, academic, or career related. This can happen individually, in a small group, or as a class. Mrs. Zerr serves the 9th grade academy. Coach Hunsinger is responsible for all 10th grade students. Mrs. Hindman is responsible for 11th – 12th grade Last Name A-K. Mrs. Ivester is the counselor for 11th – 12th grade Last Name L-Z.
Media Specialist & Public Information Officer ~ Linda Morris
The primary role of Media Specialist is to promote student growth through information literacy and technological knowledge. In addition, the Media Specialist promotes ethical standards and values. The primary role of the PIO is to promote good news regarding student achievement in the classroom, extra curricular activties and athletics, through our school webpage and social media.
Bookkeeper ~ Becky Foley
The bookkeeper maintains the school’s accounts.
Attendance Secretary ~ Devin Watkins
ALL students report to the Attendance Office to check in or out. Students also turn in all medical and parent notes to the Attendance Office. The attendance secretary monitors and documents student absences. Notification is also sent to parents by letter if their student has accumulated a significant number of unexcused absences. Students also complete forms for certificate of attendance here in order to get their learner’s permit or license.
School Secretary ~ Jennifer Taylor
The primary role of the secretary at Central High School is to assist the faculty, students, and parents with school related needs arising during the school day.
Counseling Secretary and Registrar ~ Joy Sailors
Mrs. Sailors is responsible for the enrollments, withdrawals, and file records for all students. You can obtain access to Infinite Campus Parent Portal through Mrs. Sailors in the Guidance Office. Additionally, the registrar updates telephone numbers, addresses, and other information as needed.
School Nurse ~ Teresa Cooke, RN
The primary responsibility of the school nurse is to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical needs of our students and faculty and maintain health records such as immunizations and sports physicals.
