Students can listen to podcasts as previews to new material or as a supplemental techniques to learn beyond the standards, increase literacy and listening skills, enhance engagement, and keep interest levels high. If there is an app for the podcast, download the app. In your digital journal, think of topics in three different subject areas you teach that you believe podcasts would be beneficial as an extension or acceleration activity for your advanced students. Search the Podcast links above and find a Podcast for each of the three topics that your accelerated students would enjoy listening to. View the Podcast response sheet link and print or upload to your Google Classroom for future use.
