Course Description:
Successful completion of Art I is a pre-requisite for this course. Students will take the tools gained from the introductory level and improve upon them with more in-depth projects.
In Advanced Art, students expand their personal growth in the visual arts through the identification of specialized areas of interest explored through the use of traditional and contemporary media and techniques as students observe, create and speak, think read and write about the visual art in greater depth.

AP Art History covers the history of art and architecture from prehistoric times to today. Students learn to evaluate, contextualize, interpret, and compare works of art and architecture. The course also focuses on developing learners' understanding of artistic traditions.
Course Description:
In an AP Art and Design course, you’ll develop the skills that artists and designers use and create a portfolio of work you’ll submit for an AP score.
You’ll create a portfolio of college-level work and submit it for evaluation (instead of taking a year-end paper-and-pencil AP Exam). A qualifying portfolio score can earn you college credit and/or advanced placement.
