Waivers and other documents

• PreReq Waiver if you want to take a class you were not recommended for and/or for which you do not meet pre-reqs, you will need to have this form completed .  Deadline  March 15, 2023

• Special Waiver for Course Acceleration outside of Carondelet. Carondelet does not give credit for classes taken outside of Carondelet (exceptions made for remediation).  If you want to be considered for a special waiver for this, you must submit an official request BEFORE taking the class

  • Course Acceleration Requests

• Independent Study is offered to students who wish to pursue additional coursework/activity in either Kinesiology or Visual & Performing Arts, and for which there is currently no available opportunity at Carondelet. Students must receive Department Chair approval to enroll.  The course will help develop proficiency, knowledge, and skills that are achieved through the discipline for which the study is taken. The Department Chair and the student will collaborate to develop written course goals that are aligned with National Standards for Physical Education or the National Art Standards to reflect unique growth through the identified discipline. The student will work with a faculty mentor and be responsible for completing the goals within the designated time frame; grades are Pass/Fail.
