General Conference Information
Carolina TESOL is excited to invite you to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from October 28-30, 2024 for the 2024 Carolina TESOL Fall Conference! This year’s conference will be held at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort at 10000 Beach Club Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572. The Conference Planning Committee is pleased to welcome educators from across North and South Carolina!Â
Our chosen theme is Heritage Still Speaks. We want participants to consider the importance of the endowments of the past, and the challenges of the present, while guiding students toward future opportunities: language, culture, and all. This conference provides an opportunity to share innovative practices, creative initiatives, discuss best practices, and learn about successful strategies that lead to greater success for our region’s Multilingual Learners (MLs) and their families. Therefore, we invite you to join us this fall to share in the power of collaboration to develop strategies to support our MLs and educators toward their goals.

Call for Proposals Information
Proposals should be submitted via our Call for Proposals Form. The deadline to submit proposals is Saturday, May 18, 2024. The Conference Committee will notify all proposal applicants of their acceptance or denial on Friday, May 31, 2024. At that time, directions for registration and payment will be given. Presenters must register and pay for the conference by Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in order to hold their spot in the 2024 Carolina TESOL Conference program. Please review the documents linked for additional information.

Prospective Exhibitor Information
This year we have several package options to choose from for Exhibitor participation. It is important to note that Exhibitor spaces are limited, so be sure to get those applications in on time! The deadline to submit Exhibitor applications is Saturday, May 18, 2024. The Conference Committee will notify all applicants of their acceptance or denial on Friday, May 31, 2024. At that time, directions for registration and payment will be given. Exhibitors must pay all conference fees by Wednesday, August 16, 2024 in order to hold their spot in the 2024 Carolina TESOL Conference program. Please review the the documents linked for additional information.
