Classroom Tip 3 - Quickly Grading Short Answer in Google Forms
Google Forms has updated recently to allow you to QUICKLY grade short answer questions. You no longer have to go to the spreadsheet results - you can quickly grade each question by viewing all of the answers at the same time and marking them wrong or right. Google Forms has updated recently to allow you to QUICKLY grade short answer questions. You no longer have to go to the spreadsheet results - you can quickly grade each question by viewing all of the answers at the same time and marking them wrong or right. After opening a new form, create a short answer question for your quiz.
Make sure to make your form into a Quiz by going to settings - You can choose to release grades immediately or after you have reviewed the answers.
After you start receiving responses, you can click on responses - question and see each answer for that question. You can quickly go through and click on the checkmark or the X depending on whether or not they got it right or wrong. It will automatically put the score in for you.
The last step is to make sure you save the changes. You may then go to the next short answer question to grade.
